Beim Auswählen der Dateien können per Drag&Drop ganze Verzeichnisse hinzugefügt werden, die Unterverzeichnisse werden automatisch mit eingeschlossen. Sollte ein Unterverzeichnis nicht zum Sichern erwünscht sein, so kann es auf eine Exclude-Liste gezogen werden und wird bei der Sicherung nicht mit berücksichtigt. One-click BackUp ist eine Erweiterung für WinRAR. Daher ist der Optionsdialog dem von WinRAR sehr ähnlich, es kann bspw. die Kompressionsrate oder auch das Aufteilen auf mehrere Dateien mit bestimmter Größe -zum anschließenden Kopieren auf Diskette- ausgewählt werden. Auch die Vergabe eines Passwortes ist möglich und das Archiv kann gegen Veränderung geschützt werden. Nach Erstellung des Archivs kann dieses sofort überprüft werden, damit eventuelle Fehler im Archiv ausgeschlossen werden können.
